Trade > CARIFORUM EC EPA Negotiations

Thirteen (13) of the fifteen (15) CARIFORUM Member States signed the Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) in Barbados on October 15, 2008. Haiti and Guyana were the only exceptions. However, Guyana later signed the agreement in Brussels on October 20, 2008.

To ensure that Jamaica acts swiftly in taking advantage of the EPA, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade will be convening a high-level Seminar on the Implementation of the EPA - Positioning Jamaica to Increase Exports on a date to be announced.
